The original Jordan 1

The Air Jordan line began in 1985 with the Jordan 1, designed by Peter Moore for Michael Jordan's first NBA season. The high-top was the shoe he played in, and the black and red colorway that later became known as Bred is still one of the most famous sneakers ever made.
